Hi, how is your baby with lying on his/her back? Maybe you could try a pram with a bassinet (that may do your baby up until around 5 months depending on the size of the bassinet) and perhaps if your eldest likes to stand and see everything, you could get a buggy board or similar to go on the back of the pram (I would try it first though to make sure the bassinet doesnt sit too far back from the pram fram and not allow enough room for your eldest to stand - hope that makes sense on paper, trying to think of how to describe what I mean??) There are a few different types of buggy boards so maybe play around at a baby shop with a pram and the attachments to see what works. If you are looking at getting the Steelcraft Strider, try looking on gumtree.com.au if you dont mind buying second hand. Some of them are alot cheaper then buying brandnew and you can always get a pram liner or new bassinet matress/liner.

I hope this helps. Good luck. The first 6 - 8 months were the hardest (and longest!) but like all PRS parents, you do what you have to - to me some days seemed to not be too bad and others I found myself in tears half the day!
All the best
Ann :)

Hi My daughter Olivia had severe sleep apnoea as a new born and I also had another child, Charlotte, to fit in a pram. I got a limousine style pram at a garage sale where Olivia could lie down in the back on side/tummy or back and Charlotte was at the front quite stable and secure in the seat. Charlotte was only 19months at the time. In the early days I also used a 'baby born' front pouch so I could keep Olivia close(peace of mind) whilst still following Charlotte around the park.Olivia slept quite well in this as she was in the upright position. Good luck!
